DefaultJavaScriptOptimizerSetting

Control use of JavaScript optimizers
Last updated September 9, 2024

Allows you to set whether Google Chrome will run the v8 JavaScript engine with more advanced JavaScript optimizations enabled. Disabling JavaScript optimizations (by setting this policy's value to 2) will mean that Google Chrome may render web content more slowly. This policy can be overridden for specific URL patterns using the <ph name="JAVA_SCRIPT_OPTIMIZER_ALLOWED_FOR_SITES_POLICY_NAME"> JavaScriptOptimizerAllowedForSites</ph> and <ph name="JAVA_SCRIPT_OPTIMIZER_BLOCKED_FOR_SITES_POLICY_NAME"> JavaScriptOptimizerBlockedForSites</ph> policies. If this policy is left not set, JavaScript optimizations are enabled.
