Chrome OS 130 rolls out with picture-in-picture hiding, voice recording, and content summarization

A few updates for schools in Chrome OS 130

The latest Chrome release notes include 67 updates, but only four are important for Chromebook admins.

Easily hide videos using picture-in-picture - Students can now quickly hide videos by sliding them off the side of their screen using picture-in-picture mode. There does not appear to be a setting for admins to control this.
New AI-powered content summarization - Chrome will now summarize text in the browser. You can disable this feature with the HelpMeReadSettings setting.
New voice recorder with transcription - Google is launching a new app on Chrome OS for recording audio and transcribing using Google's AI-powered speech-to-text and content summarization service. There does not appear to be a way to disable this app for admins.
Enhancements to kiosk mode for websites - If you use websites in kiosk mode, you can now whitelist multiple URLs for the same kiosk session in order to grant browser permissions to multiple origins.
